		Let's go on a Field Trip!

There are plenty places in Northern California and Nevada for collecting rocks, mineral specimens, fossils, and gold, to name a few.

Our Club has Field Trip Leaders that know some good collecting locations.

We also belong to the Cooperative Field Trip Chairmen's Association ("Co-op") who's members consist of numerous Northern California Gem & Mineral Clubs that make their Field Trips available to other member Clubs. That means we have quite a few more Field Trips available for members in addition to ours.

Some field trips are one-day, while others are longer. No matter how long a trip is, we share a great hobby with others with the same interest, enjoy nature, fresh air, camp out, have potlucks, learn more about the hobby, and usually bring home some great specimens!
